Topic: Concentrate into Copper: The Miami Smelter  

Details: This presentation will cover the process of turning copper concentrate into copper anodes and sulfuric acid. It will detail each step of the process including where we get concentrate, how we blend and bed it, the ISAsmelt process, the electric furnace, converter operations, anode barrel refining, anode casting, acid plant operation, and end use customers. We will also discuss the role the smelter plays in the company as a whole as a cost saving center. The presentation will include photos and video of the process in action. There will be a question and answer section at the end.
