Details: This presentation will take the audience through the El Paso Refinery and Rod Mill by following the copper.  We will see different process that are used presently in El Paso that cover, electrorefining, electrowinning, acid purification, metal hydrolysis, pressure leaching, cementation, vertical furnace melting, continue casting, rolling,  rod cleaning and water recovery.   The audience will have a better understanding of these processes with respect to quality and environmental.
